How Can I Prevent Shower and Bath Clogs?
Clogs in the bathroom can be caused by a variety of things from solidified soap scum to hard water deposits. But in the shower and bath, the main culprit is hair. Hair can build up slowly, sticking to the walls of your drainpipe and catching other debris as it passes.
Before showering or bathing, brush your hair to quickly remove any loose hairs that would otherwise begin to build up in your drain. If you notice strands of hair in your hand after shampooing or conditioning, set them aside instead of letting them go down the drain. Just remember to throw them away afterwards!
Add a capful of Mr Muscle® drain cleaner to your drains each month as another preventative measure to keep blockage at bay.
